Oxycontin $1.4B are probably a bizarre degeneration of the legal drug busines morphing into the illegal addiction market, not a true medical need. Perdue Pharma itself end up investigated by Fbi (apparently free of wrongdoing), many physicians and pharmacist in legal troubles, some in jail. The Florida famous physician in jail was alone responsible, besides the daily party outside his office, for about $3 million in sales. A Pharma need only 500 of this guys to get to $1.4B !!!

The Appalachians are leftover with a crisis similar to LA or NY city. They even call Oxycontin the "hillbillie heroin", lots of deaths too.

Morphelan is designed to inactivate itself when crushed, so not good for sniffing or Iv.

Old oxycontin could be crushed and sniff. Part of Perdue Pharma deal with Fda/Fbi was the NewOxycontin with similar technology as Morphelan.

Oxycontin sales should go down. Morphelan to grow into the legal portion of the business, therefore the lower guidance.
