Oh yea, what I came to post. Frank, that fine institution started in your fair city by the Comries is doing their best to keep this fake consumer driven economy alive! They're literally giving stuff away. 15 months, no interest accumulation, no payments, no down payment. Although they will book this as a highly profitable sale now, the truth of it won't be known for fifteen months. I remember them over twenty years ago with their ads shouting at you.

On another front, when worlds collide weird stuff sometimes happens. Just reported in Oshawa the burly head of the Canadian Auto Workers slams the Catholic Board of Education for denying a gay student his right to free speech. I saw him being led out by police, calmly and they reported they ended the meeting and he wasn't charged. Good thing. Seemed a little juxtapposed to me though.
