It's a matter of determining who does derive income from the Bush Inc. machine.
There are millions at this point, led by a few dozen at the top.

Since I've had a bit of the grape this evening, let me propose an heretical concept, and imagine this: what if the Bush Inc. view of the world were in fact actually shared by a majority of Americans? I mean, if all corruption were fully disclosed, and everyone still agreed that offshore Enron deals and deals w. the Saudis were ok, terrorism is ok towards the "bad axis" guys (or US citizens when absolutely necessary), and a Bush-controlled US should, indeed, rule the world militarily and through disinformation, and not just culturally and economically. Oh, and also that Bush Inc. should get a nice cut of every transaction, rewrite all history to make W smart, and eliminate anyone they wanted thru the occasional "Texas suicide" and tribunal ...

What then?

Hey, we'd be in a pickle. We who think of America as a powerfully fair and basically humanitarian congregation would suddenly be cornered.
If, instead of 154 million people who didn't vote for Bush, 100 million, say, changed their minds and actually wanted a kind of Orwellian fascist carnage against the weak? We'd have some decisions to make.

Like -- what kind of species do we really belong to?
