Thread Poll I almost responded to this last night but decided against it. Now I'm going to just say what I'm thinking and let the chips fall where they may. I see many names of people on that list that are not of Piffland. Some of these people didn't even respond (at least that I saw) yet they were given "Guru" status as their opinions of market direction were posted. I have a problem with this. First of all (Not to be too much of a HOMER) I think this board has done an excellent job of posting charts and opportunities to make money. Thats not a new thing. Its been a recurring theme with this core group since I can remember. Second, as many of you pointed out ( Peel just decided to cut to the chase so I will use her words ) this market sucks big time!! It has no direction which oddly enough is when I find these boards to be most hostile. Look around on these "GURU" threads and look at what they are doing to each other! They're cannibalizing their own for that all important "GURU" label. The fact is there are no "GURUS" in a directionless market that's facing a myriad of issues. So while you're out gathering GURU opinions from other boards keep in mind some of the best brew is HOME BREW! While ideas may be short in number now I have no doubt they will come. They will come when the market direction becomes clearer and at that point they will come with less risk. Maybe instead of looking outside our group for Guru's we should just listen to what the lack of ideas on this board and the hostilities on other boards is telling us. To me its saying wait for a trend and stay in cash or gamble with virginal tight stops. Its telling me something else as well. We haven't seen much bashing on this board which tells me we are a high class of debris <g>! So until the market comes around rather than looking for gurus elsewhere lets work harder as a group to find them here. In the meantime I think we should insult each others mothers. Clearly the other boards are having more fun in their lower class debris hangouts <g> That's my Knute Rockney for the month PACKERS RULE FAVRE IS GOD
