W claimed to be interested in world poverty. The US contributes less than the Europeans. W has promised more for the cause but I heard it wasn't a great deal more. He's always making promises that he breaks. He tried to get out of giving New York city what he promised. There is only so much money to go around and he has targeted most of it for our "permanent war efforts." We don't need more nukes. We need more schools. We need to rebuild schools. We need school teachers. There is a national shortage. People need medical care. People need jobs. And unmarried mothers should not be forced to get married to please Bush and Ashcroft. JMOP
