important post.. save for archives..

my recent trade on KO (sold on monday), I acutally used some FA! As I was in the trade, I went to yhoo to look at where the price targets were..

biz.yahoo.com (under moving advertisment box)

Interesting enough, CSFB had a price tgt of $50.. well, as of this weekend, KO was at $50.. So I figure, CSFB will try to look "smart" and move that tgt price or upgrade that stock... (this reasoning was done on the weekend)

-------
Well, monday morning, I see this:

08:32 ET Coca-Cola upgraded by CSFB (KO) 51.25: CSFB upgrades to BUY from Hold with a $60 target; cites belief that restructuring of global operations leaves upside to firm's FY02 and FY03 EPS estimates of $1.78 and $1.96. JP Morgan, however, says that KO is very pricey and is concerned about trends over the next few quarters; prefers PEP and BUD to KO. Both firms see KO providing global volume growth guidance of 4.5-5.0% tomorrow.

Used this pop to sell into strength.

----------------
Luck? Yes. But maybe I'm on to something where I'm using the FA price targets to get a feel of where the "fundamentalists/analysts" have as 12 month fair value, to use to my advantage..

Again, just sharing this story out there, to get feedback..
