Lumber working stiff???, hardly it's all mechanized. If the working stiff owns shares in lumber companies, not Weyerhauser though they log in Canada, then maybe he'll benefit. It's protectionism for an elite group, not for the public. Cheap lumber keeps people building houses, sells nails, hammers and saws..equipment. Boost the price of lumber arbitrarily, as Bush has done, and you'll see, housing starts will start to decline. Lumber interests, or house buyer and house builder interests. Bush goes with lumber.
