Oh look... if you go with the Calphalon, you can join the Calphalon Cooking Club!!!

Croc's cookware is all stainless steel stuff. Nothing fancy.. a bunch of Lagostina pots with quite heavy bottoms and clear glass lids so you can see into them. I've had them for about 3 years and have no complaints. I use them on a glass-top range - no problem. However, the piece of cookware that gets used the very most around here... odd as this may seem, is a big non-stick electric wok made by.. I think it is Toastess. Cheap as heck, but I use it almost every night to cook stirfries, many kinds of Indian dishes, and I even make big batches of spaghetti sauce in it. Super control over the heat from everything through simmering to deep-frying. I bought it after watching a friend use one during the cooking demonstrations that she used to do for a lot of the meat and vegetable producer organizations here in Ontario. She made just about everything you can think of in this thing. So I went out and got one... think I paid around $40 Canadian for it. When my friends from Holland were visiting a couple of years ago...they're into all kinds of cuisine just like me.. they wanted to steal the wok and take it home with them... but no way... nobody woks off with my favourite piece of cookware.
