Yes one would have to be very nimble to short this sector. My reasoning for shorting the trusts is due to their endless appetite to add new reserves and will use their stock to make acquisitions,diluting shareholders. They are all due to make a series of announcements soon. Look at Provident this morning drop on that convertible debenture issue. Someone who shorted got lucky.
