Dan3 - You wrote Intel suddenly reports that its hands are tied by the accounting rules, and it has no choice but to defer or hide those costs. That's why they call it cooking the books. Do not AMD and Intel both use the same accounting firm for audits? Why would the same accounting firm be so scrupulously honest for AMD yet allow Intel to "cook the books" ? Does this seem logical to you? Monica
