Perle was in the Reagan DOD establishment. He's in a private think tank now. Perhaps you recall the movie character Dr. Strangelove? That's Richard Perle in a nutshell, or was that nutcase(?). He's one of the most hawkish monsters in America today. Do a Google search, it'll gag you to read his views. Truly an Evil One. Just like the guys in this review of contemptible characters:
