Right on the money. Think, foe example, how many jobs would be created by a mass program to produce electricity by using the new windmills that can produce enough power for over 1000 homes EACH. The forward looking Europeans are already doing that, while Cheney says what we need is a new coal plant a month for the next ten years. Windmills would be scattered throughout the countryside, supplementing farmer's incomes, using the endless wind supply, and as a side benefit they would be almost terrorist proof. It's pretty unlikely that terrorists would take out all of our scattered windmills without anybody noticing. Think of the jobs that would be created by our industry building all of these machines.

But NO, that is too tree huggy and liberal sounding, so the wrong wing is going to be against it, NO MATTER WHAT. Don't confuse 'em by facts, btw. They will call you names. Their answer is MORE COAL PLANTS! Talk about a 1940's mentality.
