Yes, I can read, thank you. Now what do you suggest as an alternative? When you step into the booth, you get two choices: Democrat or Republican. Pick Brand X and you might as well not bother.

NOW: Just how many Democrats have you seen that could be be considered libertarian by even the most forgiving definition.

I won't argue that in voting Republican,you are often forced to choose social conservatism with economic conservatism. I pick that over the common Dem combination: social liberalism with economic insanity.

And yes, sometimes the Republican choice is either social conservatism and Big Government or Religious Right. I go over the hill to Libertaria in most of those cases. Sometimes I've even held my nose and voted Democratic.
