You conveniently blame the current administration for promoting the use of oil while ignoring all past admins.

Wrong -- I blame previous admins as well, as I said ...

The "huge mess" excuse only goes so far.
Why perpetuate the mess by being partners with the deviant Saudis, just as one example of many?
Doesn't wash.

"Very capable" is a matter of opinion.
They have failed miserably to live up to any semblance of responsibility for preventing further billions to their Saudi Arabia partners, or even finding the son of their partner, bin Laden.
They have been "very capable" in lining their own pockets as war profiteers, tho'

Yes, many are paying with their lives. That is the problem.

The current CIC has done nothing to protect us from further annihilation. In fact the irresponsible nuclear and nonsensical "evil axis" comments make it more likely to stir up more extensive warfare. It is almost as if that is the point.

If you recall your recent history, all of the military and secret police under Bush's control seemed to have failed, even after an hour's notice, to go after the terrorist hijackers.

In fact the citizens of Flight 93 did more than the entire corrupt and incompetent Bush-controlled government.

As far as the list of traitors, take a look at who profits from this war, and who simultaneously is in charge of it, and make your own decisions.

Then, read General Butler's account of what happened on his watch, to get an idea of what people do when given free reign and the kind of passion for ill-gotten secrecy that Bush Inc. has to have to stay in power.

"The Plot to Sieze the White House", by Jules Archer
re: high-level corruption of the White House

another summary of that era:

THE BUSINESS PLOT TO OVERTHROW ROOSEVELT

Butler was especially upset by this part:

"We need a fascist government in this country… to save the nation from the communists who want to tear it down and wreck all that we have built in America. The only men who have the patriotism to do it are the soldiers, and Smedley Butler is the ideal leader. He could organize a million men overnight."
