I thought the vix was a measure of volatility on the OEX.
The OEX is compiled of 100 stocks and has remained in a 50 point range for 6 months.
If my understanding of the vix measure is correct, it will not be a factor unless there is drastic movement in the rest of the market, causing these 100 stocks to make measured moves. I am too lazy to look up these stocks. -ggg-

The April options seem to be in a range between 570/580 and possibly 590.

The May options are also in that range, as are June.
