Stan, must be a typo. Lowest volume was Dec 24. 2,553,900sh. The article also said "Officials at Applied Materials weren't immediately available for comment." I do hope it is their policy not to comment on up- or downgrades. Anyway, I reread Ken Fisher's column in Forbes and it has me worried. Shortsightedness rules when folks believe the winter uptick is more than a sucker rally. The market is no higher than in January-but sentiment sure is higher. forbes.com 'Everyone' expects a better 2H2002, so it won't happen? I guess too much thinking can be hazardous to investment results.<G> Gottfried
