Cary, With approx. 65% of AMAT owned by the institutition I can now understand how the small investor get the shaft when they hype AMAT but they are selling, then they downgrade the stock and the semi's drop like a rock. I also get upset with the analyst. But, that is their job.

If I recall all the other upcycles, in 1996 and 1998 the institutions were late getting on the trail when it pulled out of the station. This time it appears they got on early and held the stock up in the $39-40 range except for 9/11.

Just my opinion.
