TORONTO, March 27 /CNW/ - Twin Mining Corporation ("Twin Mining") (TWG -
TSE) is pleased to announce the results of diamond analysis of kimberlite from
six Freightrain mini-bulk pit samples, designated JI-1, JI-3, JI-4, JI-5,
JI-5S and JI-6 (see table below). Analysis confirmed that the kimberlite
recovered from these sample pits is crater facies material.

Diamond extraction and analysis was performed by Lakefield Research
Limited ("Lakefield") (processing cutoff 0.8mm). Lakefield is accredited by
the Standards Council of Canada and CAEAL for specific registered tests.
AMEC, E & C Services ("AMEC"), who are auditing on an ongoing basis
diamond processing and extraction at Lakefield for Twin Mining, are presently
reviewing diamond results from the perspective of diamond distribution and
reproducibility of results compared to previous samples. They will also
determine a suitable target and size of a larger sample. Results from this
review will be announced shortly.
Mr. John Lindsay P.Eng., AMEC's Chief Process Engineer, is Twin Mining's
"Qualified Person" as defined by National Instrument 43-101.
A showing of our diamonds for shareholders will be held in Toronto
shortly at a location and time to be announced.
Twin Mining, in addition to exploring the Jackson Inlet diamond project
on Baffin Island and the TORNGAT diamond project on the east side of Ungava
Bay in northern Québec, also holds a gold mining project in Idaho, United
States of America.
