The responsibility is overwhelming. Like having the Queen come to visit.
You are making me laugh.. but then, you always do. (o: And, yes, I would imagine the back-splash panel comes out of your stove too. A bright young salesman demonstrated this feature to me when I said..."Oooooh.. I don't like the look of that glass backsplash... looks like food would stick to it!!" He immediately pulled all the knobs off the stove, flipped the metal top thing back and slid the panel out to show me how to remove it and said that you can EVEN wash the panel in the diswasher by turning it crossways on the bottom rack!!! Needless to say, I was *astounded* and bought the stove right on the spot!! Well, actually, I had already decided that I liked it, but now I liked the stove even a little more. Drag about that oven handle though.. and yes... amazing how "stuff" sits around with broken parts forever because it's such a PIA to go around to all of these weird little parts and service places which are, invariably, situated in suburban industrial parks were every unit in the whole area is something like 1574-A-32... and they aaaaallll look the same... same dark smoked glass front windows and crappy little signs that you can't read until you are *there*. Hmmmmph!!!! A pox on all of them, I say!!! |
