Hi Joel, a tough question, requiring a place not only to serve as SOLID and STABLE shelter, but as a FUN (that takes Maldives, Bangladesh, Arctic circle, Montana and Utah out of the running) and AFFORDABLE shelter, without its own actual and potential local problems ... and just hanging out on a boat is no solution due to piracy issues. So,
New Zealand comes to mind, and we have Mq to mooch from;
Tobago OK, bit small, and Trinidad may not be.
More trouble ... under the circumstances as contemplated, gold and platinum may not be worth much in these two places because no one knows what they are for.
Everywhere else either already or potentially messed up in some way, expensive, or on the front lines of WAT.
