KG/SEMI WATCH ---- Up 1 point off LOD and semi stocks like NVDA, QLGC, VRTS, NVLS, etc gained a point or more too off their lows and now we wait to see what the Naz really wants to do. SOX indecisive but last half hour holding in very tight range (583-586)

CHKP is one of my faves when it gets into the 30-31 area when the Naz powers even a little. Not bad valuation either.

Unforunately, on many days the easiest money is made in the first 20 minutes if you can find those Lows of the Day (LOD) and spot the mini-turn in the SOX or NAZ. Of course, that is not always easy, but if you key into certain stocks like the Semi's I mentioned, you can start to gain a little confidence. It's risky trading, but usually on days like this the moves are not wild, so losses can be held to a minimum and gains can be pretty regular.

BEAS got a little active and has pretty major support near $13; didn't quite get there before others picked some up.
