Ahem... Well, you stubbornly persist to overlook a key ingredient of my Russian/Israeli/French theory: the BLUNDER element. Indeed, can you rationally tell me why everybody, all the terrorism experts and suchlike have assumed from the start that 911 was a PERFECTLY EXECUTED, DIABOLICAL SCHEME that unfolded with CLOCKWORK ACCURACY???
Read my earlier posts on the subject (from Sept 11th on): I've repeatedly claimed that 911 was initially devised as a REGULAR hijack operation! BTW, both Mohammed Atta and Moussaoui (who was arrested on Aug 16th, 2001) attended the same Flying School to pilot a Jumbo 747 --that is, an aircraft used (almost) exclusively on intl flights.

I know that such a viewpoint taking a "blunder" element into account is somewhat counterintuitive: we all tend to think of 911 as of a whizz-bang terror plot carried out with diabolical mastery... Yet, (recent) history is full of grandiose intelligence schemes gone awry. For instance: the 1978 botched attempt by the US to rescue hostages in its Iranian embassy, the Bay of Pigs debacle, the Contra/Irangate, etc, etc.
Moreover, the "suicide" premise positing that the hijack leaders concealed the suicidal nature of their mission from their subordinates doesn't fit in with the usual psychodynamics of suicide terrorists: in all suicide terrorist attacks, the time span between the planning of such an operation and its execution is VERY SHORT. In Palestine, for instance, the suicide-bombers are not sleeping agents planted in Israel several months or years before some mastermind startled them out of idleness!! Quite the contrary: they turn into suicide-bombers out of exasperation (the continuous bloodshed, etc), it's something like an IMPULSE and it's a matter of hours or a few days between their personal decision and their assignment to a suicide operation....
Finally, Israel's past record (the Liberty affair, Pollard,...) shows that Israel --like France-- wouldn't flinch from inflicting "mild" injuries to the US (whether US citizens or facilities) for the higher sake of Israel. And that's precisely what 911 was INITIALLY about: the hijack of several commercial jetliners (with minimal collateral damages among aircrews) and classic bombings of Federal facilities (the Pentagon, the State Dept.) The WTC carnage was merely a glitch --a terrible, unfortunate disruption in the whole scheme as the Muslim hijackers "reprogrammed" a Plan B of their own....
