Well, it's all a matter of personal opinion, I guess. She didn't like the Oscars, and I didn't like her review. I didn't find her very clever or witty at all (well, maybe the occasional small truth- I did think they might have to burn Julia Roberts off Denzel like a tick)

She must be very young-- the language was crude, the word choice intentionally rude and she has very little depth or breadth or kindness. She wrote for attention and to shock-- Look at me be oh so daringly provocative! I don't think real wit needs these crutches. But as X so often says, "that's just me".

I do think she is a good writer, and that makes it sad that I found myself thinking that she fell back on cheap tricks in the same way she accused the academy of doing.
