Just because they have legit products doesn't mean the company is not a scam or that it will succeed. The products are also rans. They make lasers for PDT, but as already noted, others make them, and were making them earlier. QLT is the way to play PDT, but many question its long term efficacy, particularly in AMD.

The story is similar for varicose veins. The technique it is competing with is very similar and has first mover advantage:

So the market position is iffy at best, and the financials are more than iffy. Bankruptcy candidate, IMO.
