Rails- Robert, I saw this yesterday that may of be of interest to you about containers. From Bond-talk.

ECONOMY TALK: Imports into the nation's two largest ports, Los Angeles and Long Beach, surged in February. The Port of Los Angeles reported a year-over-year jump of 52.2% in loaded inbound cargo containers in February 2002 (data) while the Port of Long Beach reported a year-over-year increase of 30.4% in loaded inbound containers, the biggest increase in three years (data). Imports into the two ports combined rose more than 40% year-over-year. Exports also rose strongly in February, with Los Angeles reporting a 15% rise year-over-year in loaded outgoing containers and Long Beach reporting a 10.3% rise. The leading imports include consumer goods such as electronics, clothing, toys and shoes, suggesting retailers are rebuilding inventories. Meanwhile, leading exports include factory equipment and raw materials, adding support to evidence of a recovery abroad.
