ERTS- Short? The game industry hoopla may be starting to wain. I'm watching this for a short entry.(this one last been on my watch list for about two years and I trade it a lot.) This out today from Briefing.com. 10:30 ET Electronic Arts experiences weaker trading (ERTS) 57.82 -1.40: Stock trading in a defensive fashion this morning. Possibly contributing to weakness is pre-market note by SoundView. Firm lowers its Xbox sell-through assumption for Q1 and Q2 to reflect subdued launches in Europe and Japan. New assumption for worldwide sales through June trimmed to 4.35 mln units from 4.6 mln; believes Xbox continues to sell well in the U.S. Firm sees limited impact on software revenue from the lower Xbox number.
