Ali, I am not surprised. If AMD wants to play dirty with ambiguous model numbers and a bogus "True Performance Initiative," Intel will play dirty with politics of their own.

By the way, from the article:

He [the AMD rep] said that amongst numerous inaccuracies, Aberdeen had assumed that the PR rating was compared with Intel processors, while in fact it was based on competitive performance with its own products.

What a crock. Every single benchmark that AMD has on their web site compares an Athlon XP to a Pentium 4.
