Are they, though? Palestinians in the West Bank are no better off than they are in Lebanon. Yet those in Lebanon attack Israel much more often than they do the Syrians, their oppressors there.
Palestinians are also in no worse straits than plenty of South American and African countries.

The Israelis have shown great, great restraint thus far. My feeling is, that if it's "Us or Them", I'd rather Them get killed than Us.
