i would like to believe that a peaceful solution is in the works, but i am beginning to doubt it. the way the situation is being portrayed is erroneous. it's not terrorism by palestinians, and retaliation by israel. it's a war. a war over a piece of land. plain and simple. likud.nl jewishjournal.com looks like the palestinians have been trying to build up arms for a while now. it's just a matter of time before they have enough weapons and support to start a real offensive. until then, they will use human bombs to conduct a war of civilian attrition. one more dead israeli civilian is one less future israeli soldier. a slow war until their ready to fight the real one. the question is, how many other players will show up to participate in this conflict before it's over.
