ASKING THE GROUP FOR HELP... Just curious... I use multiple web sites to try to find good 'swing-trade' candidates like prophetfinance's chart/sector surfer, etc.. In my research I like to pull swing trading candidates from the strongest and weakest sectors (The ratings wil be relative strength ratings based on 5 day, 15 day, 30 day and 3 month past performance). My office has Bloomberg which I find cumbersome and annoying -- and I pay for Daily Graphs, which organizes both minor technicals and tremendous fundamental data into 2 screens --- However, it does not have good functionality in allowing for searches using this data (yet). Does anyone know of any paid/non-paid sites that provide industry/sector daily data, similar to IBD's SECTOR RANKINGS that also breaks down the sector by stocks? Sector surfer and chart surfer would be amazing if they updated you on the industries on a daily basis. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Looking to optimize my nightly research - right now the process is taking up about 3 to 4 hours a night. Also I pay for Qcharts and Ravenquote (now called ErlangerQuote). Any ideas on better software to create 'programmable quotesheets' and watchlists that do it better than this software will also be appreciated. As for me, I am now managing 2 small portfolios. One is open-ended and the other is a sector-specific fund. Hope all is well with everyone. All the best, -- Gene
