Well... I'll certainly grant you that their stock has taken a hit, but so has virtually everything else with even a hint of "online remote trading" about it... As for delisting... who knows? They'd have to undergo a massive ca. 20% drop from here, wouldn't they? (18 cents!)

I have no idea how close their situation is to "desperate." Sounds like you're just guessing, too. As for whether or not they should have just stuck with software, why blame them for trying to upgrade? For those involved, there may be as much of a reward in failing as a brokerage as in "successfully" selling trading software.

I'll admit, though, that, as a user, I'd have been happy if they'd just improved their 2000i products - stabilized them and made them work a little more like RealTick or CyberTrader Pro for daytrading - and worked out cooperative arrangements with already existing brokers and data vendors.
