If she thinks she can collect something because great great aunt bessie endured the hardships of slavery and that somehow affects her sad, empty life, then I would like to collect from her for the suffering my great, great grandfather went through fighting in the civil war to free bessie.

And as I've said before, it was the British who brought slavery to this land before it was a country; sue the Brits. And they will say, they were enslaved by Romans who invaded England, so sue the Pope. And they will say, African Americans claim they started civilization eons ago in the area that is Egypt, which is where slavery began.

I am appalled that this frivolous, unconscionable and idiotic lawsuit is even allowed in the courts.
