Bob,
My point, 54.3% of student computers which use Apple and Mac is a
big potential customers. I can't remember the name of an analyst and he said, "If anyone predicts our high technological companies will die, he doesn't know our tech industries. he means our tech industries will not let happen." I read a book last week, when I went to Wardenbook store. The name of the book is "Marketing Warfare" - by Al Ries and Jack Trout. One of the chapters is "Computer War" which discusses DEC vs IBM and AAPL vs IBM in the early stage from page 167 - page 186. The page 183 talks about AAPL vs IBM and comments that APPL made one biggest mistake in the past - it neglected the small businesses and home users. I wish AAPL will learn from past experience to regain the computer market share again.

Best wishes

James
