SI et al,
I am in the process of buying a top of the line home computer with 266 MHz PII dream machine, but, everytime when I look, there seem to be a newer and better way to configure the whole thing, I want fast communication ( I already have ISDN, but the speed is a waste with my 486 antique ),3D video, DVD, etc. Knowing the powerful thinkers here, could someone post the SI version of 266 MHz PII computer instead of DEll or Micron? Can we do it better here? Say, stay under $5000 without moniter or speakers, but with software package for education, home fiance, personal finance, teenager stuff and science programs in good quality ( biology, chemistry and physics ). I have a thirteen year old to bring up and to keep up.
