"That's a totally different story. Hardly a free enterprise system. " How much different? The Czars were perfectly free. Free to control anything and everything in the country. Free to stamp out any competition and free to collect taxes for their own use....Free to have food delicacies shipped from anywhere on the planet for one dinner party...Free to laminate everything with pure gold foil in baroque architecture. Why do I worry about our own country....because we now pay shortstops 20 million a year to play baseball 6-7 months a year, we pay talk show hosts 20 megabucks a year to bash their political opponents, and we pay CEOs about a billion dollars over 10 years because they turned a company around by firing half their employees, reduced benefits of retirees and employees while enhancing their own with stock options and retiring with huge golden parachutes. And what is the current administration doing...giving them even more money in the form of disproportionate tax breaks....
