The money they paid in is a bad joke. The Social Security Ponzi scheme is a federal handout. The Congresses of the second and third decade of this century will be ending the scam regardless of any potential suffering. It's not the receipients' money. They can allow for a reasonable phase-out now, that would allow them to continue to receive their payment streams, even though they are ill-gotten, or they can suffer greatly in 2020 as a series of far-different Congresses digs the nation out from under the ruins of the pyramid.

If they listen to the Democrats' lies, and thus delay the inevitable, they deserve their fate...
