The founding fathers would probably or ARE probably turning over in their graves at what passes for an elected
representative today.

Term limits at the national level may be a solution. It is beginning to work at the local level. Gives them less time to steal. All individual campaign monies left over when leaving must be turned into the Federal treasury and an accounting given for that spent.
Now I am one of those old guys on SS. Have paid the max as long as I can remember but I would gladly opt out if I can get back my contribution, adjusted for inflation. Fortunately, I invested a similar sum in the USA and rode the averages to financial independence. The Ponzi scheme has now been extended to 2041 before all the government IOU's are redeemed. So if any change is to be made it must start now with those young enough to benefit. The lies and demagoguery from both sides must be ignored. President George Bush, among others, has the right idea. Those most afraid of change are those that have been lied to as to how the changeover will work and its eventual benefits. The idea of acquiring an estate that belongs to the individual, not the state, is overwhelmingly enticing. Imagine the wealth created as these estates are passed on to future generations. A powerhouse economy will created such as the world has never seen. All those who can work will be employed. The creation of such great wealth will easily care for those less fortunate who cannot support themselves. Not welfare, but compassion. This system should eventually eliminate poverty as we know it. Even a family in the lowest economic strata would gain financial dignity. No more kissing some (many) politicians ass hoping for a handout. No more, or at least less, government subsidised housing ghettos.
With term limitsthere will be less orgies and bimbos in the house and senate office buildings as the pols wont be there long enough to be worth bribing for passage of some laws. Lobbyist can return to what they were originally conceived to be , information suppliers, instead of purchasers of the politicians vote. Is this a pipedream? I don't think so.
. Let's make this country great again. Stop the finger pointing, hate, racism and animosity.
