Sounds good - I have the feeling you're on the wrong thread unless you're actually interested in trendVUE methods, Teresa Lo's trading etc. Or at least - say things that are interesting to the trendVUE people. What you're saying sort of goes against the whole point of trendVUE which is to make money in the markets by learning to control risk, understanding how markets play out etc - mostly discretionary at some level. There are techniques, yes - but there is also risk control, position sizing etc too - and those are very individual things - your computerized system could very possibly be very wrong for me because I may not be able to deal with the kinds of drawdowns you would with your timeframes.
