I know that first hand. What they don't, or shouldn't, do is sneak around about it. Makes one wonder.
There's a great deal that happens in Washington that the rest of the country never hears about. Not surprising. It's a company town and the rest of us have our own lives to run. Which also contribute to the common good (with some exceptions, of course).

Being a Californian, I'm not particularly well disposed towards oil and NG companies. We have good reason not to be. That "electricity shortage" here was clearly contrived. We went from "no problem" to "SHORTAGE!" in a matter of weeks- -just as the dereg price caps came off. Amazing coincidence.

But the fact that some text in an oil company document ended up in the law does not constitute a crime.

But with Detective Lieberman on the case, I'm sure we'll get to the bottom of this.

Or even plausible deniability, in most cases, although I must say I've used that one myself. In a good cause, of course. <g>
Care to elaborate? :-)
