of us who opposed Ashcroft's
nomination were being
"hopelessly partisan" and
engaging in "personal attacks".
The simple truth is that we
KNEW how dangerous this
narrow-minded, dishonest and
slimy ultra right-winger could be
if he was given a position of
power. And while I generally
enjoy saying "I told you so" to
right-wingers, in this case I'd be
happier if Ashcroft had proven
