<font color=blue>Hammer at 2233Mhz?
Somethings do not add up here.

xbitlabs.com

The CPU with A0 core stepping showcased in both cased worked at the actual core clock of 1.4GHz.
The next core stepping A1 is expected to appear in the nearest future and should work at 1.8Ghz-2GHz.
The first Hammer CPU will have the performance rating equal to 3400+ (by the way, we have already shared something of the kind last September).
The performance of Hammer processor in 32bit code will be 15% higher than that of Athlon XP working at the same core clock. Another 10% performance gain are promised to be delivered when the programs are recompiled in 64bit (without any code changes).

Some Steps to support my conclusion.

1st CH 3400+/2000Mhz= 1.7 or 70% this assumes CH debut is 2Ghz
2nd XP 2000+/1667Mhz= 1.2 or 20%
3rd XP extrapolated to be running at 2000Mhz x 1.2= 2400+
4th 2400+x 1.15= 2Ghz 32 bit hammer PR rating of 2760+
5th 2760+ x 1.1= 2Ghz 64 bit hammer PR rating of 3035+
6th 3035+/2000= 1.52 PR 64 bit hammer ratio based on quoted % gains
7th 3400+/1.52= 2237Mhz Hammer. vs the 1st step.
8th that's a 12% delta in either Freqency or performance based on Xbit's Claims.

I think AMD is really sand bagging on Performance gains of Hammer or else it's going to debut at 2233Mhz.
