I'll give the charts a closer look tomorrow. I wonder whether Bill is using a formula without those parentheses in the divisor. If he is, and if he's discovered a system based on it, he's really striking new ground. You have to consider the meaning of the original BradCCI formula, and read the notes on what was intended. It really is basically a CCI formula, with some slight changes. And those parentheses would appear to be essential. Plot a regular CCI(28). Then in the next window, plot BradCCI with and without the parentheses. You'll see what I mean. But if this doesn't convince you, look up a formula for CCI. It's basically:

(Price - MA)/(.015 * MD)

That is basically what BradCCI is, except that you add the second formula:

Std(((h+l+c)/3),28)

If you take out the parentheses in the first part of BradCCI, it's an illogical formula.
But you certainly raise an interesting point. What are we gonna do if Bill's been basing BNS on the illogical formula? Yikes.

You get huge numbers, by the way, when you divide the dividend by .015. Imagine dividing anything by that. Or take a look at a plot of the first part of BradCCI without the parentheses in the divisor. The values in the scale are enormous.
