at AOLs old problems. Investors are looking ahead and responding to the radically changing
fundamentals evidenced by the series of marketing deals AOL has put together.<

As I am a software engineer heavly immersed in developing internet applications, YOU FAIL TO LOOK FORWARD at the key factors that make AOL inherently obsolete. AOL is like an old PC-XT or even an AT (8086 -80286) machine...was usefull at its time yet you can't give those machines away now...why???....because as technology changes, old paradigms fade away...anyone remember Osborne??? Commodore??? Atari???
And now Apple is on the verge of extinction because of a CLOSED AND PROPRIETARY SYSTEM!!!!! AOL is trying to adapt to the internet which is like the wild west...new and more interesting applications are coming out all the time and are designed to be universal..AOL is not.

I see by your email address you are a subscriber of AOL...probably have a Mac too....thanks for the hearty chuckle Stevo
