I guess short term rates have really fallen... But yields on 10-year treasury bond have actually increased and are right now at the best level seen in 2001! Even worse, 30-year is at 5.8%, 1% higher than at the Nov.,01 bottom and 1% lower than Jan. 00 top... Will the economy REALLY recover, or will it be dragged down by higher mortgage rates?
