Carl, I'm not in the dumps at all. I bought my first Intel at 80, and bought and sold at various points along the way, sometimes with losses, but mostly with very good profits. Have done some profitable options trading on Intel as well. Not to mention doing well with other stocks after I got out of Intel. Please, don't have pity for me.

A flat price is a flat price, short-term or long-term. You have wasted six months of time sitting on a non-rising stock when you could have been making money on other stocks. I am not claiming to be a guru or even a very good stock picker, but I am saying that it's silly to assume that Intel is always the best stock to be in.
