Mish, I suggest you watch NVDA, VRTS, QLGC, NVLS, although NVDA has been acting very weak because of the lawsuit announced Thrusady morning which alleges that they may have "cooked the books", which throws their recent earnings into question. The action on that one was very intriguing on late Wednesday and Thursday (i.e. was a great "short" @$46-48 and then a good "long" @$41-42)

These are but 4 stocks that are very tradable for those that like that kind of action. I play once in a while when VRTS goes near 40. VRTS actually broke below $40 near the close the other day, below the bottom of its recent trading range, for about 30 minutes then rose up above it in AH the other day and then roared back to $44 yesterday. Some of these stock move exceedingly well with the SOX and NAZ (and often even stronger than the NAZ or SOX move would suggest), but you have to watch them for awhile to perceive their pattern.

On a slightly up open, they tend to rise strongly then fall back and tease you, but pick up speed suddenly at some point if the the market does not fall back much. And it if rises near the end of the day, they may make a strong late day run. Not always but often.

Anyway these are four that are interesting to find patterns for.
