Stations of The Cross Meditation.....
Today my wife, Maribeth, and our three sons - Frederick (8), Thomas (4) and 6 mo. old Andrew - walked the 2 1/2 - 3 hour Stations of the Cross here throughout Evanston's downtown and Northwestern's campus. All the various ministries throughout Northwestern's community participate and even though this was spring break and the weather was bad there was a pretty good turn out.
There was a driving rain which consistently fell from the heavens with all the wind you could want to have at times. I viewed the correspondence of this experience as a cleansing of water, spirit and love.
Last year I helped carry the cross to the ninth station where Jesus fell down for the third time and this year they signed us up to speak and carry the cross for the same segment - there were 14 stations total.
This is what I was called to write and share just prior to leaving this morning.....
----------begin..............
"May individuals from all walks of life allow Christ who is our Father in Heaven to bear all of our crosses. Crosses which cannot be claimed, but only given up over to our Lord who promised to free us from the slavery and burdens that the claims and conditions of this world seek to weigh us down with.
As individuals we are all called to freely receive and share the light, energy and Love of our Lord. Energy that is free. Light that is free, Truth that is free. Supported by his unconditional claimless and blameless Love which, too, is free.
What I personally want to freely receive and share is a vision for a massive opening up into a realization all over this world that we have entered into a New World that is full of water, full of spirit and full of the everlasting peace and Love that all comes from the ONE End which is our ONE Lord God in Heaven Jesus Christ.

-----------end........................
There are over 90 churches in Evanston. And the Northwestern University motto rings true:
Whatsover things are true, whatsoverver things are honest, whatsoverver things are just, whatsoverver things are pure, whatsoverver things are lovely, whatsoverver things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Philippians 4:8
This is the opening folks!!
It's time for more of this rain, this light, this water, this spirit to duplicate, replicate and radiate massively ALL over this wonderful world of ours.
This isn't just PIE IN THE SKY.....
This is it!!
LET'S ROLL!!
