We've discussed the mini many times on this thread, in fact, Alan charts net COT positions valuing the mini at 1/5 the regular contract. In any event, commercials also went less long the mini and more short the SPoo's this week. As far as predictive value, it was excellent in March 2000, March-April 2001 and last September if one looked at the large changes in commercial exposure at those points. I agree that the large specs are a valid indicator (inversely) as well...
