Karen, I am intrigued with your plan of moving after 27 years! My life has been a series of moves over the years...in my first 15 years of marriage, I moved 11 times! Then it was easy. All of our possessions went into closets in the first 24 hours and the pictures went up with the tiniest hooks I could find. God forbid, that we would have had to paint each time! Velcro would have been a blessing! After that...it was 4 more moves in 20 years. But, now I save stuff!...and the energy to move isn't there anymore. What are your thoughts now about the future? I know we are the same age.... Are you looking for a condo? Will you stay in the area? Do you have friends that live somewhere really cool and that may draw you to a new place? Sorry for all the questions but I think it's really brave and probably really smart to sell if the prices are up in your area. I find it intriguing that people seem to sense the need to move on in their lives. Good luck! Marie
