what makes you think a newborn baby knows what he/she is? if self-awareness is needed to be considered human life<?i> Self awareness is what sets humans apart from the animal kingdom. People with brain damage are considered impaired and do not have the full rights and responsibilities of those with full faculties. The real question is not life, but mind. TP
